A floor hockey stick should fit the player's body size. Players should stand holding a stick in front of them with the blade-end tip on the floor. The stick that has the butt end reaching a player's chin is the correct length for that player. Typical age ranges and stick lengths are as follows:

Ages 5-7: 30"L Stick
Ages 8-12: 36"L Stick
Ages 13-17: 42"-45"L Stick
Ages 16+: 47"-60"L Stick
