Bingo

Watch your card closely and leave nothing to chance as you play your favorite game of Bingo!

A fun addition to family game night, classroom recess, or as part of your lesson, Bingo is a game anyone can play. Quick comprehension and attention to detail are needed to win this class favorite!

Bingo in the Classroom

Because it’s a simple game of matching, anyone can play Bingo and be successful at it. Students must listen carefully as numbers are called and pay close attention to their card to make sure they’re marking off the numbers being picked. This game will put student reflexes and memory to the test as they scan the card for numbers, try to remember what they have, and race to be the first to shout “Bingo!”

It’s also easy to incorporate Bingo into lesson plans. For example, write a math problem on the board, with the answer being a number on the Bingo sheets. Students will need to solve the problem with the right answer to mark their card! In this way, math concepts can be incorporated in a fun way.

How to Play

Students are given a card with a grid of numbers and letters. Mark any square on your card that matches the number called. If B-10 is called out, for example, look in the B column for the number 10, and place a marker there if you find it. Continue playing until one player has covered a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal pattern of 5 grid spaces on their card. A player covering 5 consecutive spaces yells “Bingo” and puts their hand up to have their card checked.

Game includes a colorful spinner card with plastic spinner, 14 bingo cards, plastic markers, tally card, and rules. For 2-6 players, ages 7 and up.
