Give students a way to rate their activity intensity using this large banner.

Help students understand the amount of energy they exert based on their comfort level, ability to talk, and percentage of maximum heart rate. This helps them identify the appropriate levels of exertion for specific activities. This enormous 5'W x 3'H poster features color-coded information for visual reinforcement for the entire class.

Quickly Evaluate Exertion

Exertion ratings are color-coded and numbered on the banners for quick reference. Corresponding exertion level explains how long that level should be maintained, so students quickly realize how hard they are working. The chart also displays the percentage of maximum heart rate achieved at each exertion level.

Each exertion level in the banner also uses the example of the Talk Test. For example, if students reach their full 10-9 exertion level (red), they should not be able to talk while working out. If they are in the green 6-5 exertion level, students should be able to complete a couple sentences at a time while experiencing moderate shortness of breath. This is a simple and effective way to gauge individual performance.

Huge, Heavy-Duty Design

This enormous 5'W x 3'H banner is a quick and highly-visible point of reference that teachers can place anywhere in the gym. Students across the gym can easily reference the instruction. Heavy-duty vinyl construction resists ripping and fraying. Metal grommets on the banner make it easy to hang up and take down the banner.
