Scooter Poles and Paddles
Enhance scooter and raft activities with poles and scooter paddles.
Students will develop upper-body strength and coordination skills as they learn new ways to maneuver on a scooter or raft using a kayak pole, scooter poles, or a scooter paddle. These heavy-duty PVC paddles and poles have easy-to-grip foam handles and non-marring rubber tips.
Greater Strength and Coordination
All 3 of these options (kayak poles, scooter poles, and scooter paddles) provide students with a great option for learning to maneuver a scooter while building up their upper body strength. Rather than relying on using their hands and feet, students use these tools and master new important athletic and coordination skills. They will quickly learn the rhythm and force needed to move in the direction they need to go.
All poles and paddles are made with a heavy-duty PVC. These units are also quite flexible, allowing the poles and paddles to bend and use that energy to propel them forward on their scooters. Other similar poles and paddles made with cheaper material would simply break under the strain.
Each paddle and pole also features an easy-to-grip foam handle, which helps students maintain control as they paddle throughout class. The paddles themselves feature a non-marring tip that gives students traction on the ground. These tips are designed to be safe for your gym floor.
Choose from the following options: a 52”L kayak pole, designed for side-to-side alternate paddling, a pair of 19”L poles that allow students to use both arms separately or at the same time, or a 24”L paddle that features a paddle T grip on the opposite end of the rubber tip to simulate realistic canoe motions. The T grip on the paddle provides better control, allowing students to create more torque.
