Which snowshoes are right for me?

• Provide added stability for the beginner and the advanced snowshoer.
• Distribute the generation of power from the legs alone to include the upper body.
• Make it easier for beginners to keep their heads up and perform maneuvers, such as kick turns.

• Most models are rated by user weight, which determines the snowshoe length.
• Look also to frame shape for its impact on fit. Many models have tapered tails for a more ergonomic fit and less splayed stride, which can put strain on leg joints and tendons.
