Traditionally designed for gymnasts, these thicker mats have an additional 5/8" of foam that doubles the cushioning, reducing the incidence of bottoming out during high-impact use. These mats also provide better energy return ("rebound") than 1-3/8" thick mats, making them excellent for gymnastics, cheerleading, and martial arts, as well as for older or heavier-weight users. Use indoors or out; the polyethylene foam won't absorb water like other foams. Textured 14 oz vinyl-coated fabric cover is flame-resistant, washable, and mildew-proof. Smooth, double-reinforced nylon-stitched seams provide the strength to give these mats a long life. Mats fold in 2' sections for easy storage. Choose no Velcro®, Velcro® on 2 ends, or Velcro® on all 4 sides for all custom color mats. Mats without Velcro® can be used individually, or mats with 1-1/2"" Velcro® can be linked together in a long run or combined to cover large areas.
