This cage/net system is designed to safely keep the discus inside the cage while throwing, protecting athletes and spectators. It also identifies the throwing area, making it obvious for visiting teams where to set up for events.
The cage includes 6 steel 2.375" OD posts that drop 9" into PVC pipe ground-sleeves. These sleeves are cemented into the ground for stability and lasting use. The one-piece cabled net has a nylon top and is treated to withstand outdoor elements. The net can be easily raised or lowered with its flagpole-style rope system, making setup and takedown very convenient. Net clips detach quickly for fast removal and easy storage. Net is 58'L x 14'H. Meets NFHS specifications.
