These Rainbow® colored PVC discs engage stabilization muscles, and the 6 colors add instant organization, fun, and variety to everyday balance disc training.
All fitness levels can benefit from this disc, but it’s best suited for those who have already mastered basic balance skills. It provides greater challenges for people who are interested in progressing their balance skills, including balancing on one foot.
A smaller, 13” diameter makes it great for smaller and younger students progressing their skills, or for single-leg exercises such as the lunge or single-leg squat. Air shifts back and forth within the disc as the user moves on it, creating the need for the user to engage in core and stabilizer muscles to stay balanced and centered through movement.
Easy to Use
Simply inflate the disc to the desired firmness to start training. There’s no other assembly required! You can add light dumbbells or medicine balls to lunges or abdominal twists for increased difficulty.
The air level you choose determines the difficulty of your balance session. Less air means less stability and a greater challenge, while more air means more stability and a slightly easier exercise.
The thick PVC is durable enough to support up to 300 pounds! Having such a durable construction allows the disc to hold up to routine use by many users. A slightly molded-in texture on top and bottom of the disc keep the disc and the user in place to avoid falls and slipping. It is best suited for use on indoor flat surfaces, such as in a gym or training room. Because it is so lightweight and small, it is easy to bring with you wherever you intend to exercise! Each disc supports up to 300 lb.What is core training?
