Gopher supplies schools and other institutions all over the world with high-quality products. Ordering for your international school is simple:

The International Specialist will explain all of the options available to you, and you may choose how quickly you would like to receive the products that you order. 3. Choose your method of payment.
We may extend credit or accept prepayment via check, credit card or wire transfer from recognized International Schools and other established businesses. New customers or individuals are asked to contact our customer service department for payment options.

International Consolidated Shipping Program

Gopher is excited to offer a NEW ocean-container shipping program for our international customers starting January 1, 2017. The new shipping schedule provides customers with significant shipping savings and ensures you receive your order before the beginning of the new school year!

How does the program work?
If you elect to use this new program, Gopher will consolidate your order into an ocean container with other international orders in the same area. Ocean containers will ship bi-annually, on July 1 and January 4, to the port locations provided below. Consolidating your order allows Gopher to provide you with lower shipping costs.

What ports are eligible for this program?

When do orders arrive at the ports?
The first bi-annual shipment will depart the Gopher warehouse on July 1. The second shipment will depart the warehouse on January 4. For example, a confirmed purchase order sent on February 10 will be held for consolidation and shipped on July 1. The order will then arrive at the nearest international port within 4-8 weeks of the consolidated ship date above.

When do purchase orders need to be submitted to make the ship date?
Confirmed purchase orders and payment must be received 30 days prior to the consolidated ship date. To ensure July 1 shipment, purchase orders and payment must be received no later than 11:50 PM, Central Time on June 1. To ensure January 4 shipment, purchase orders and payment must be received no later than 11:50 PM, Central Time on December 4.

What about customs, duties and taxes? Can I have the orders delivered directly to my location?
Our International Ocean INCOTERMS are Carriage and Insurance Paid to Port (CIP). You are responsible for clearing all orders through customs and paying taxes in your country. You can then coordinate the delivery of the order from seaport to your location independently or use our Door-to-Door delivery service in which we will line up the transportation for you (DAP – Delivered at Place) for $399 USD.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping will be charged at 10% of the order total.

When will I have to pay for my order if I use this program?
Orders must be paid in full 30 days prior to the bi-annual consolidated ship date, meaning orders shipping on July 1 need to be paid in full no later than June 1 and orders shipping on January 4 need to be paid in full no later than December 5. If payment is not received 30 days prior to the ship date, our Credit Services Team will contact you to collect payment or confirm the cancellation of your order.

Do I have to use this new shipping program?
The program is optional and you can elect to have the order shipped via standard international transit times and shipping rates. We offer both Air (1 to 4-week) and Ocean (4 to 8-week) international freight options. These rates will vary depending on your location and order size, but as a very rough guideline, air freight to nearest airport is typically 40% of your order total, while Ocean to nearest seaport tends to be about 20%. An additional Door-to-Door delivery service is available for an additional $399 USD and items will be Delivered at Place (DAP).
