PE Summit Presenters

Bo Davenport is a Physical Education teacher at J.P.Knapp Early College High School in Currituck, NC. He has taught for 18 years at multiple levels and subjects. Bo is married to Diane Davenport and has two kids, Alyssa and Cruz. Bo attended college at Elizabeth City State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health: Teaching. After teaching for twelve years, he returned to school and received his Master's in Physical Education with a concentration in Pedagogy. Mr. Davenport has presented on local, state and national levels. He has conducted local level trainings in his district on using pedometers and other data tracking devices. In 2016 and 2018, presented along with Jesse Stapp from Gopher at the NC AAHERPERD conference in Winston Salem, NC. 2014 and 2015 was invited to present at the National PEP Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona on pedometer use and data tracking in Physical Education.
