Eliminate Hanging Nets
A portable climbing scaler for students to use in schools eliminates the effort of installing climbing ropes or nets. Instead, simply carry this structure out of storage, set it up, and watch students climb up and down! It’s perfect for students working on climbing without having a full-scale apparatus hanging from the ceiling.
A steel frame opens out to feature a peak-style structure that students can climb up and over, giving them all the benefits of a traditional vertical climb and descent. When class is over, the structure folds together flat and can be easily stowed in a closet. The process takes mere minutes and results in the same benefit as permanent climbing rope installations offer.
Constructed of 2″ OD steel and featuring non-marring rubber feet to keep gym floors free of scuffs and scratches, this structure offers the perfect marriage of durability and delicacy. Durable 3/4" polypropylene rope nets have 12" mesh openings, so students are less likely to get their feet caught while climbing or surmounting the peak.
A lashing cord helps control the net tension, so teachers can make sure it's exactly where it needs to be for specific proficiency levels. Tighter tension makes it easier to climb, which is ideal for younger students. Loose tension adds the challenge of more instability, which is better for older students.
Frame measures 6'6"L x 6'6"W x 6'6"H and weighs 85 lb total.
