Supporting Education and
Safety in Your School

WATCH D.O.G.S.® is a national K-12 initiative that helps create safe and secure learning environments in our nation’s schools through the committed involvement of fathers and other male role models. Today more than 1,100 programs in 35 states participate in WATCH D.O.G.S.®

Fathers, grandfathers, uncles—men who are committed to students’ success—volunteer at school for at least one full day a year.

WATCH D.O.G.S.® Volunteers:

  • Provide overall leadership for the program
  • Monitor school entrances and hallways
  • Assist with arriving/departing buses
    and cars
  • Participate during lunch and recess
  • Help in classrooms…and more!
Nearly 80% of participants surveyed agreed that WATCH D.O.G.S.® made a significant contribution to the safety of their schools.
