Our Largest Shuttle
Measuring exactly double the size of traditional shuttlecocks (7”L x 5” dia skirt x 2” dia base), it’s easy for kids to get to know the basics of badminton with a larger target. Bigger birdies are easier to track in the air and hit with a racquet, and their comical appearance helps eliminate any fears that might come from playing a volley. The scalability of these shuttlecocks also serves to better transition students to play with regular-sized birdies in the future.
Fun with Colors
Rainbow colors further reduce the intimidation of learning badminton and give students the confidence they need to serve and volley. The 6 different colors are also a great way for teachers to improvise games and create activities to keep students engaged. Make blue birdies worth double the points or attach a volley counter to red shuttles for a Hot Potato style game of badminton—the possibilities are endless! Colors can also be used for skills testing, to identify areas of improvement for individual students.
Performance and Durability
Despite their oversized nature, these shuttles are designed to play just like their smaller counterparts, to create realistic play that makes transitioning to traditional birdies easier. They’re also tremendously durable thanks to a lightweight foam head and plastic skirt, which can stand up to big hits time and time again.
