Master Tricks and Skills
Measuring just 5-1/2''H, this low beam for gymnastics is a friendly, non-intimidating option for beginners and intermediate users trying to learn tricks or master new skills. The 4”W walking surface is the same as a regulation beam, giving gymnasts a true practice surface that will translate seamlessly during competitions. If students stumble or misstep, solid ground is only a step away!
Spanning just 8'L—under one half the length of a regulation beam—it’s also a consolidated choice for honing in on specific skill development. Students don’t have to worry about covering the length of a regulation beam and instead, can focus on mastering 8’L of space for better control over their bodies and their coordination. Practice balanced walking or even simple tuck rolls before moving up to a high beam gives young gymnasts the confidence they need to succeed.
Friendly, Yet Durable Design
A solid wood core vs. the traditional solid steel core of other beams, makes this gymnastic beam for beginners a much friendlier prospect to learn on. Wood is more forgiving and softer, allowing students to better adapt to balancing off the ground. A suede-like cover protects the wood core and provides a realistic feel and extra padding, in case of impact. Even in the face of institutional learning, this beam is designed to bear the burden of constant use and abuse.
The overall integrity of the beam is also unquestioned when it comes to safety and durability. The entire structure is supported by wooden feet that allow it to be raised off of the ground, yet still extremely stable. Even as students land tricks or move quickly atop it, this beam won’t shudder, shake or tip. The beam supports students up to 85 lb.
