Rescue tubes are a must-have piece of equipment to ensure the safety of all pool users. Available in 2 sizes, these soft, buoyant tubes can be thrown to a swimmer safely, then drawn back to safety with an aluminum rescue pole.
Versatile Rescue Tools
It’s important for schools to have a variety of different rescue tools to store along the poolside. Besides being important as safety tools for swimmers who might need them, teachers can also use them for safety demonstrations and units. Have students practice taking turns using these tools so they’re constantly prepared for an emergency situation.
There are 2 different sized rescue tubes in this assortment. The larger size features a heavy-duty 6’ polypropylene tow line with no clips or buckles, so there’s no fear of it coming undone while being pulled. The small tube has a 12” strap extension with quick-release Delrin buckles so it can be quickly wrapped around any swimmer. Both are made with a vinyl-dipped Ensolite that is soft and forever buoyant.
The rescue pole is made of 2 parts: a 16’ pole and a life hook. The Life Hook is made of a heavy-duty anodized aluminum and can be used for any type of water rescue. The pole is an unbreakable, rigid fiberglass material, featuring two 8’ poles with a connector for varying lengths.
